Leh, Oct 08: The University of Ladakh’s Leh Campus and the School of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SAS&T) in Leh will reopen for regular classes tomorrow, marking the end of a prolonged academic break.
In an official notification issued today, the university administration directed all faculty members, students, and non-teaching staff to report to campus as academic activities resume in full. The announcement underscores the institution’s commitment to restoring normal teaching and learning operations after the extended interruption.
The Vice Chancellor has instructed faculty members to conduct additional classes to compensate for lost academic time and ensure the syllabus is completed on schedule. He will personally oversee the functioning of classes, inspecting departments and campus facilities to monitor the smooth resumption of educational activities.
The notification also made it clear that attendance for all faculty, students, and staff is mandatory as the university returns to its regular academic schedule. The resumption of classes represents a significant step toward reinstating regular academic functioning at both the Leh Campus and SAS&T.
