LEH, October 22: Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on Wednesday ordered the withdrawal of criminal cases against 10 more individuals booked in connection with the 2025 Leh violence.

With this latest decision, a total of 55 individuals involved in 87 cases have received relief over the past three months.

The cases are linked to the violence that erupted in Leh on September 24, 2025, during a protest demanding statehood for Ladakh and the extension of the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution to the Union Territory.

The latest move marks another step towards providing relief to those booked in connection with the incident.
