UDAIPUR, Dec 26: Udaipur Police have arrested three individuals, including the CEO of a private IT company and a female executive along with her husband, for allegedly gang-raping a woman employee in a moving car, officials said on Thursday.
The arrests followed a complaint filed by the survivor, after which police recorded her statement and conducted a medical examination. District Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal confirmed that the medical report revealed injury marks that prima facie support the gang rape allegation.
Police are relying on crucial evidence including footage recorded by a webcam installed in the car used during the incident. Based on the evidence collected, authorities arrested GKM IT Private Limited CEO Jeetesh Sisodia, the company’s executive head Shilpa Sirohi, and her husband Gaurav.
The three accused have been produced before a court for further legal proceedings as the investigation continues.
