Kargil, Aug 31: The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Kargil has extended relief assistance to families whose houses and property were damaged in the recent spell of heavy rainfall.
According to officials, aid was distributed in Itchoo, Drass, and Zanskar, where several homes were affected due to flooding.
The relief package included ration supplies, essential food items, kitchen materials, cooking gas stoves, blankets, and carpets. The initiative aims to provide immediate support to the affected families and help them manage daily needs in the aftermath of the rainfall.
