Jammu: In a recent administrative move aimed at enhancing governance and service delivery, the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has appointed IAS officer Shrikant Balasaheb Suse as the new Managing Director of Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited. The appointment follows his transfer from the Union Territory of Ladakh, where he previously held key positions as the Deputy Commissioner of Leh and Kargil districts.
Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, a 2016 batch officer of the AGMUT cadre, brings with him a wealth of experience in public administration and district-level governance. His tenure in the challenging terrains of Ladakh has been noted for his commitment to service and effective coordination during critical times. His new role in Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited will focus on addressing issues related to power supply, infrastructure improvement, and service reliability to ensure better public satisfaction.
With this appointment, the administration anticipates a stronger push toward reforming and modernizing the power sector in Jammu, aiming for efficiency, transparency, and improved consumer engagement under Suse’s leadership.
