New Delhi, Feb 26: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared a thrilling ride on Japan’s futuristic SCMAGLEV train in Yamanashi, clocking a jaw-dropping 501 km/h during his visit.
In an X post, Yogi marveled at the superconductor maglev’s smoothness and stability: “Next-generation high-speed system… clean, efficient, precision mobility. Reflects Japan’s innovation and infrastructure excellence. When tech moves this fast, the future feels closer.”
The experience highlights global infrastructure inspiration for India’s own high-speed rail ambitions, like the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project.
