Leh, Sept 19: As part of the ongoing “Sewa Parv” in Ladakh, Tsewa Lobta Foundation has donated Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) story books along with squishy toys to the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Leh. The contribution was made on September 18 for the institute’s newly launched Balvatika Room, designed to create a lively and engaging space for early learners.

The donation is intended to encourage joyful learning among children by combining educational content with playful activities. By supporting the Balvatika Room, the Foundation seeks to strengthen teaching resources while promoting innovative approaches in classroom learning.

Organisers of Sewa Parv, observed from September 17 to October 2, have described the initiative as an expression of service towards society. The Foundation’s gesture has been welcomed in Leh as a meaningful step to nurture creativity and curiosity among young children in the region.
