Jammu, Dec 27: Senior leaders of the National Conference (NC), along with prominent public figures, on Saturday visited the Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu to inquire about the health of the ailing father of Dr. Vikas Sharma, Zonal Coordinator and Secretary, Central Zone.
Former ministers Ajay Sadhotra, Babu Ram Paul, and Abdul Gani Malik were among those who reached the hospital to express concern and extend best wishes to the family. They were joined by NC Provincial President Rattan Lal Gupta, MLA Khurshid, former MLA Dr. Chaman Lal, NC Provincial Joint Secretary Ankush Abrol, NCSU Provincial Working President Arun Pal Singh, and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Jammu, along with other political and academic personalities.
The visiting leaders interacted with family members, reviewed the patient’s condition, and offered prayers for his early recovery. They conveyed hope that he would regain health soon and return home at the earliest.
The visit reflected a strong sense of unity and compassion, underlining the party leadership’s practice of standing by colleagues and their families during times of illness and personal difficulty.
Dr. Vikas Sharma expressed gratitude to all leaders and well-wishers for their prayers, encouragement, and support, and thanked them for taking time to stand with the family during the ongoing treatment.
