Leh, Jul 28: The Ladakh Subordinate Services Staff Selection Board (LSSSSB) has rolled out an exciting recruitment campaign, offering 377 government positions across various departments in Leh and Kargil districts on Monday.

The vacancies cover 22 diverse roles for both graduates and matriculates, including Naib Tehsildar, Excise Inspector, Junior Assistant, Supervisor, Statistical Assistant, Legal Assistant, Driver Grade-II, and Class IV posts.

Selection will be based on a written exam, with non-technical roles tested on general knowledge, reasoning, math, and English in a single paper, while technical posts include an additional subject-specific test. Negative marking and minimum qualifying marks will apply for all categories.

The age limit is set between 18 and 40 years as of January 1, 2025, with relaxation provided for candidates from reserved categories. A fee of ₹200 applies per application, except for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) who are exempt.

Applicants must be domiciles of Ladakh and possess a valid domicile certificate under the 2025 rules. Candidates will be selected through a written examination. For most non-technical positions, the exam will consist of a single paper testing general knowledge, reasoning, mathematics, and English. Technical posts will have an additional subject-specific paper. Negative marking applies, and minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for each category.

As per the order, Rigzin Spalgon, JKAS, Secretary of LSSSSB, said, “This is a significant opportunity for the youth of Ladakh to build their careers in public service. We encourage all eligible candidates to apply carefully and well within the deadline.”

Interested candidates can find the complete advertisement notice (Advt. No. LSSSSB/2025/01) on the official website https://lssssb.ladakh.gov.in. They are advised to read the 53-page document thoroughly, check eligibility conditions, and prepare all required documents before applying.

The last date to apply online is September 3, while the last date to pay the fee is September 4. LSSSSB has urged applicants to submit their forms well in advance and avoid last-minute issues.

The online application process will begin on August 4, 2025, and remain open until September 3, 2025.
