JAMMU, JUN 26: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday reaffirmed his commitment to building a drug-free Union Territory, urging people to join hands in protecting the youth from the growing menace of substance abuse on the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
In a message shared on X by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, Sinha said the day provides an opportunity to renew the collective commitment towards achieving the vision of a “Nasha Mukt J&K.”
“On the International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking, let us reaffirm our resolve to protect our youth and realise the vision of a Nasha Mukt J&K. Through collective action, awareness and social responsibility, we can defeat this menace and build a healthier society for future generations,” the Lieutenant Governor said.
He called upon all sections of society to work together in creating awareness and strengthening efforts to eliminate drug abuse across Jammu and Kashmir.
