Leh, May 21 : The Leh Autonomous Hill Development Subordinate Services Recruitment Board on Wednesday began the document verification process for candidates shortlisted under the Graduate Level recruitment examinations, initiating a multi-day exercise aimed at scrutinising credentials of aspirants selected for the next stage of the recruitment process.
The verification is being conducted at Paras Hall of Boys Higher Secondary School, Leh, under a structured administrative mechanism put in place to ensure transparency, procedural compliance and orderly conduct during the exercise.
Officials said 10 separate verification boards had been constituted for the process. Each board comprises one officer designated for document verification along with two officials assigned as document checkers to examine educational certificates and supporting records submitted by candidates.
The scrutiny process includes verification of original certificates, photographs and other mandatory documents required under the recruitment rules and notified guidelines. Authorities stated that the exercise is being carried out strictly in accordance with prescribed procedures to maintain fairness and accuracy in the recruitment process.
The entire verification programme is being supervised by Rehmatullah Butt, Secretary, LAHD-SSRB.
Officials from the District Employment Office, Leh, and personnel of the Ladakh Police have also been deployed at the venue to facilitate smooth conduct of the process and maintain law and order during the verification exercise.
The document verification will continue over the next three days as per the notified schedule issued for shortlisted candidates appearing in the Graduate Level recruitment examinations.
