Kathua Police attach 10 kanal, 15 marla land worth crores belonging to 7 people illegally residing in Pakistan

Kathua Jan 2:- In an exceptional case following the order of Special court Jammu, Kathua Police today executed attachment warrants against 07 accused persons of Tehsil Lohai Malhar District Kathua currently residing in Pakistan who were involved in case FIR No. 21/2024 U/S 61(1),147 BNS,13/16/18/38/39 UA (P) Act & 2/3 EIMCO Act of P/S Malhar.

In the above said FIR a proclamation was issued against following 07 persons who are presently residing in Pakistan:-

1. Mohd Ayaz @Adeel Ansari S/o Gh. Hussain R/o Lohai Malhar (Property attached 01 Kanal).
2. Abdul Kareem @Bitta S/o Abdul Sattar R/o Malhar Kathua (Property Attached 12 Marlas).
3. Sarfraz Nawaz @Nawaz Ahmad S/o Mohd Saleem R/o Lohai Malhar, Kathua (Property attached 1 Kanal & 10 Marlas).
4. Mohd Farooq @Farooq Ahmed S/o Ab Rehman R/o Lohai Malhar, Kathua (Property attached 1 Kanal & 5 Marlas.
5. Mohd Hafeez S/o Mohd Bhatt R/o Lohai Malhar, Kathua (Property attached 02 kanal).
6. Gul Mohd. s/o Mohd Ramzan Khan R/ Lohai Malhar Kathua (Property attached 15 Marlas).
7. Akhter Ali @Niku S/o Mohd Saleem R/ Badnota Mora, Arodha Tehsil Lohai Malhar, Kathua (Property Attached 3 Kanal & 13 Marlas).

All the above said accused remained absconded even after proclamation so with the assistance of Revenue department and after fulfilling the legal formalities the immovable properties of the above said JKNOPs were identified and attached U/S 84/85 BNSS.
Thus overall, 10 Kanals and 15 Marlas of land (Immovable Property) worth crores of 07 residents of Tehsil Lohai Malhar District Kathua and currently illegally residing in Pakistan got attatched. The whole operation was led by SHO P/S Malhar PSI Arun Shan under the guidance of SP Ops Upper Kathua Sh. Amir Iqbal & DySP PC Malhar Sh. Sushil Kumar and overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS.

This action reflects firm resolve of Kathua Police to act decisively against individuals involved in unlawful and anti-national activities. The process of identifying and attaching properties of such offenders will continue as per due process of law.

J&K Police Kathua remains committed to uphold peace, security and rule of law in the region.
