JAMMU, APR 17: J&K Bank officials visited the “Apna Bhojanalya” canteen at Government Medical College Jammu today, personally serving meals to patients’ attendants.
Recently upgraded under the bank’s CSR initiative in the presence of LG Manoj Sinha, the facility now benefits more people. Sinha joined a meal there during the April 14 ceremony.
Run by Sewa Bharti, the canteen has long offered daytime meals for Rs 10. Now, it extends to evenings, with breakfast planned soon. Upgrades include automatic roti makers, better seating, and improved infrastructure.
