JAMMU, APR 17: The government has appointed 20 officers as Executive Magistrates in Reasi district under Section 14(1) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, in a move aimed at strengthening administrative and law-and-order mechanisms.
According to an official order, the newly appointed officers will exercise all powers of Executive Magistrates within their respective territorial jurisdictions across the district. This expansion is expected to enhance the district’s capacity to manage law-and-order situations efficiently and support smoother administrative functioning.
