LEH: In an effort to promote digital literacy and skill development among youth in remote areas of Ladakh, the Indian Army’s Fire and Fury Corps conducted Computer and Photography Classes, providing participants with practical exposure to technology, digital tools and creative learning.
The initiative brought together children and young people from remote regions, offering them hands-on training in basic computer applications and photography skills aimed at enhancing their technical knowledge and digital awareness.
Officials said the programme was designed to familiarise participants with modern technologies while encouraging them to explore emerging opportunities in education, creativity and self-development.
During the sessions, participants received practical instruction on the use of digital tools, computer fundamentals and photography techniques, enabling them to develop skills relevant to an increasingly technology-driven environment.
The classes also served as a platform for nurturing creativity and self-expression, allowing young learners to engage with new forms of learning beyond conventional classroom settings.
The enthusiastic response from participants reflected a strong interest among the youth in acquiring contemporary skills and expanding their knowledge base.
