Leh: Delhi Public School, Leh proudly announces that its student, Rishabh Sen of Class IX, has been selected for the prestigious Young Scientists Programme (YUVIKA 2026) organized by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

This achievement is particularly noteworthy as only 8 students from the entire Ladakh region have been selected for this highly competitive programme, making Rishabh’s accomplishment truly commendable.

The YUVIKA programme aims to nurture young scientific minds and provide them with an opportunity to gain deeper insights into space science, research, and innovation. As part of this initiative, Rishabh will attend a fully sponsored two-week residential training programme at Trivandrum, where he will be exposed to India’s advanced space research ecosystem.

This milestone reflects the spirit of academic excellence, curiosity, and scientific temperament fostered at DPS Leh. The school attributes this success to the constant encouragement and mentorship provided under the able guidance of Retired Major General Mohinder Sagoch and the dynamic leadership of Principal Ms. Sonal Mediratta.

The Management, Director, and Principal extend their heartfelt congratulations to Rishabh for bringing laurels to the institution. They also appreciate the relentless efforts of the faculty and the unwavering support of his parents, which have been instrumental in this success.

DPS Leh also expresses its sincere gratitude to the UT Government for its continuous support in promoting educational excellence and opportunities for students in the region.

This achievement marks a proud moment for the entire DPS Leh family and serves as an inspiration for many young learners to dream big and achieve greater heights.
