New Delhi, Sep 27: The Delhi Police resolved 2,809 complaints during its ‘Jansunwai’ programme held across all 15 districts of the city, officials said on Sunday.
Senior officers, from the rank of Special Commissioner of Police to Assistant Commissioner of Police, attended the public hearing sessions held on Saturday and directly heard citizens’ grievances.
The initiative was launched in June following directions of Lieutenant Governor Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu. Public hearings are held every Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm at police stations
