New Delhi, Mar 31: The Congress on Tuesday took a swipe at Union Home Minister Amit Shah, accusing him of “raving and ranting” for nearly 90 minutes in the Lok Sabha without once using his “favourite word of abuse.”
In a pointed remark, party leaders said Shah’s unusually abusive‑free speech was a rare departure from his usual style, suggesting that even a long, combative address in the House could be delivered without relying on harsh language. The jibe comes amid heightened political tensions over recent legislative debates and government responses, with the Congress using the comment to highlight what it described as the Home Minister’s dependence on invective in public discourse.
