The simultaneous raids were conducted in Srinagar, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Anantnag and Handwara following credible inputs and evidence gathered during the investigation.
According to officials, the operation was aimed at seizing digital devices, documents and other material suspected to have been used to create, circulate and amplify content promoting anti-national narratives through various social media platforms.
Officials said the searches are part of CIK’s continued efforts to prevent the misuse of cyberspace by individuals and groups allegedly attempting to disrupt peace and security in Jammu and Kashmir.
