Jammu, May 08 : The two-day National Executive Meeting of Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch concluded in Jammu with deliberations centred on Tibet, Kailash, India’s national security and the organisation’s future programmes, while senior functionary Vivek Sharma was assigned an additional national responsibility.
Held at Galaxy College in Sainik Colony, the meeting brought together more than a hundred delegates from different parts of the country under the guidance of senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Pracharak Indresh Kumar.
The proceedings were attended by RSS National Executive member Rupesh Kumar and BTSM National Organising General Secretary Pankaj Goyal, along with office-bearers, intellectuals, members of the Tibetan Parliament, legislators and senior leaders associated with the organisation.
During the deliberations, delegates discussed the organisation’s upcoming programmes and outlined its agenda for the year ahead. The discussions primarily focused on issues related to the liberation of Kailash, Tibetan freedom and matters concerning India’s security.
In the concluding session, Indresh Kumar announced organisational responsibilities for various office-bearers across the country. Dr Vivek Sharma, who currently serves as president of BTSM for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, was nominated as Co-Convenor of the Intellectual Forum of the national team in addition to his existing responsibilities.
Officials informed that the Intellectual Forum will be headed by Sachin Tiwary from Madhya Pradesh, while Laxmi Chakravarty from Sikkim has also been appointed as Co-Convenor.
Reacting to the announcement, Dr Vivek Sharma expressed gratitude to the organisation’s leadership for reposing trust in him and entrusting him with an expanded role at the national level.
