LEH: Anjuman Muin-ul-Islam, Leh, has received a letter of appreciation from Abdul Majid Hakim Elahi, Representative of the Supreme Leader in India, acknowledging the organisation’s role in conducting mourning gatherings, prayer ceremonies and commemorative programmes marking the martyrdom anniversary of Grand Ayatollah Imam Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei.
In the letter addressed to the management and members of the organisation, Abdul Majid Hakim Elahi expressed gratitude for what he described as the institution’s support and participation in programmes commemorating the occasion. He noted that the active involvement of the organisation and the faithful reflected awareness, commitment and adherence to religious and humanitarian values.
The communication stated that the observance of the anniversary and remembrance of the leader’s ideals and guidance demonstrated sincerity, loyalty and dedication to the principles upheld by the Islamic community.
The letter also conveyed greetings and prayers on behalf of Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei and extended goodwill to the people of Iran as well as to the people of Ladakh. It acknowledged the cooperation and solidarity shown by the organisation and its members during the commemorative events.
Expressing appreciation for the institution’s efforts, the representative prayed for the continued success of the organisation and its associates in serving the Muslim community and promoting the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt.
The letter concluded with prayers for the well-being of the organisation and its continued contribution towards religious and community-oriented activities.
