Kargil, Aug 31: District Commissioner, CEO, LAHDC Kargil, Rakesh Kumar conducted a monthly inspection of the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) warehouse Saturday to assess the preparedness of the facilities for the upcoming elections. The DC was accompanied by the officials of the District Election Office, Kargil.
During the visit, DC Rakesh Kumar thoroughly reviewed several key areas, including the First Level Check (FLC) rooms, counting hall, warehouse section, and other essential facilities.
DC Rakesh Kumar provided valuable feedback, suggesting that the various rooms and spaces within the building could be repurposed for additional functions, depending on their feasibility. This recommendation aims to make optimal use of the available infrastructure while ensuring readiness for the election process.
This visit was part of the regular monthly inspection aimed at ensuring all resources and facilities are in top condition for the smooth execution of election-related activities.
