Leh, Aug 17: Rigzin Yangdol, a young coach from Kukshow village, Solpon House, daughter of the late Tsewang Tashi, has made Ladakh proud by attending the prestigious Hockey Together International Coaching Camp held in South Korea, representing India.
Rigzin expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Ice Hockey Association of India for this golden opportunity, calling it a milestone in her journey as a coach.
Introduced to ice hockey at SECMOL, Rigzin has been actively coaching children since 2019, both in her own village and across Ladakh.
Despite challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, she has continued to spread her passion and knowledge of the game to younger generations.
The international camp not only helped her gain advanced skills and coaching techniques but also provided her with global exposure and experience.
Rigzin now looks forward to applying these learnings with her young players, helping them grow and inspiring their love for ice hockey.
