Leh, Aug 03: Chairman, CEC, LAHDC Leh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson was called on Saturday by a delegation from Turtuk, led by Executive Councillor, Shri Ghulam Mehdi, accompanied by Maulana Abdul Karim, Imam of Jamia Masjid Turtuk, and other village representatives.
During the meeting, Maulana Abdul Karim and the delegation members extended their heartfelt gratitude to the CEC for his proactive leadership and commitment to the region’s development, with special appreciation for the completion of critical infrastructure projects under his tenure.
The delegation particularly highlighted the Turtuk–Hanu road, describing it as a vital connectivity milestone that will greatly benefit the people of the area, especially in terms of mobility, access to services, and economic activity.
The representatives also acknowledged the broader development focus of LAHDC Leh in remote border villages, where long-pending demands are now being addressed with sincerity and speed.
In response, CEC Gyalson expressed his appreciation for the delegation’s visit and reaffirmed LAHDC Leh’s commitment to inclusive and sustained development across all regions of Ladakh. He assured continued support to Turtuk and surrounding areas.
