Leh, May 9 : The Mega Free Medical Camp being organised in connection with the ongoing Sacred Exposition of the Holy Relics of the Tathagata Buddha continued on its seventh consecutive day at the Mahabodhi Karuna Charitable Hospital Devachan Campus in Leh, witnessing sustained public participation from different parts of the region.
The healthcare initiative, jointly organised by the Union Territory Administration, the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC) and SNM Hospital, is scheduled to continue till May 14 as part of the larger spiritual and public outreach programmes linked to the Sacred Relic Exposition in Ladakh.
Officials associated with the programme said the medical camp has emerged as an important healthcare support initiative during the ongoing exposition, providing accessible medical consultation and healthcare services to residents and visiting devotees.
The camp has been drawing steady footfall since its commencement, reflecting the growing public response to the free healthcare services being made available at the Devachan campus.
Organisers stated that the initiative is aimed at extending quality healthcare access to people from different regions while complementing the broader humanitarian and community welfare dimensions of the Sacred Relic Exposition.
The Sacred Exposition, currently underway in Leh, continues to attract large numbers of devotees, pilgrims and visitors, with parallel social outreach programmes such as the medical camp forming an integral part of the ongoing event.
