KOLKATA, Dec 21: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday blamed “misleading campaigns” for widespread misconceptions about the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh among certain sections of society, urging people to form opinions based on facts rather than narratives.
Speaking at the Science City auditorium during the organisation’s centenary celebrations, Bhagwat emphasised that the Sangh has no enemies, though some with “narrow interests” fear its growth could shutter their agendas. He stressed the need for reality-based understanding over secondary sources, announcing lecture and interaction sessions in Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru to clarify the RSS’s role.
Asserting no political agenda, Bhagwat said the Sangh focuses solely on the betterment and protection of Hindu society, vowing to prepare it for India’s resurgence as the world’s ‘Vishwaguru’
