OTTAWA, OCT 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Canada on December 11 and 12, the Indian High Commission in Ottawa has confirmed.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney also confirmed the dates while speaking with visitors at a restaurant in Calgary on Thursday morning.
Carney said he had spoken with Modi and that the Indian Prime Minister’s visit would include Toronto and Ottawa.
“We’ll see if we can broaden it out,” Carney added, indicating the possibility of expanding the visit’s itinerary.
The upcoming visit is expected to provide an opportunity for discussions between the two leaders and further engagement between India and Canada.
