Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Noida International Airport in Jewar, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2026.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected the site and invited PM Modi for the event, calling it a milestone for the state’s aviation growth. Gautam Buddh Nagar MP Mahesh Sharma hailed it as a “proud moment” for constituents, boosting developed India dreams and economic prospects.
The greenfield project, India’s largest airport, will handle 12 million passengers yearly in phase one, generating ₹1 lakh crore revenue and linking to Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
This aviation hub positions UP as a key player, easing Delhi airport pressure.
