Nyoma, Apr 8: An outreach camp under the “Jung sJabs” programme was conducted at Kungyam village in Nyoma subdivision on Tuesday, aiming to expand public access to government welfare schemes and strengthen grassroots-level service delivery.
Organised as part of the Administrative at Doorstep initiative, the programme focused on improving awareness among residents while ensuring that essential services reached remote habitations without delay.
Officials from multiple departments participated in the camp, offering on-the-spot services and addressing public queries. Residents were provided guidance on various welfare schemes, along with assistance in accessing benefits and resolving service-related concerns.
The initiative also included awareness activities designed to inform villagers about government programmes and administrative procedures, enabling them to better engage with public institutions.
According to officials, the camp drew active participation from local residents, many of whom availed services and sought information on entitlements and ongoing schemes.
The programme forms part of a broader effort by the administration to bridge gaps in service delivery in remote areas and to ensure that governance mechanisms remain accessible to all sections of society.
