Mathura, Jan 25: BJP national president Nitin Navin on Sunday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for advancing the nation while keeping the most marginalized at the heart of governance.
Making his first visit to Mathura since assuming the party’s top post, Navin said the transformation visible in Uttar Pradesh mirrors the changing face of India. “As I traveled here today, I noticed the roads in Uttar Pradesh are superior to those seen abroad. This itself testifies to how the country is evolving,” he remarked.
The BJP chief emphasized that Modi has ensured development while focusing on the weakest sections of society. Invoking Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s Antyodaya principle, Navin said it can now be confidently stated that the prime minister’s development vision centers on the poorest and most marginalized communities.
Navin traveled from Delhi via the Yamuna Expressway, where party workers gave him a warm reception at Bajna Cut in the Mant area. “I have come to meet the people of Mant Assembly constituency. By divine grace, my first program as BJP national president has been scheduled at Mathura, Lord Krishna’s birthplace,” he said.
He urged citizens to contribute to state and national development, noting that Modi is steering India firmly on the growth trajectory. “The prime minister often says when he takes one step forward, the country’s 140 crore people walk with him. With such collective strength, no force can halt India’s progress,” Navin added.
Reflecting on India’s international stature, the BJP president said there was a time when India’s prime minister could not look world leaders in the eye. “Those days are behind us. Today, Narendra Modi leads the world, and India’s prestige has risen globally,” he asserted.
Navin, accompanied by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, visited the Shri Vrindavan Chandrodaya temple on Vrindavan Marg, established by ISKCON Bengaluru. They listened to the prime minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program at the temple.
