Leh: As part of Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore 2025 under Good Governance Week, the Mimangs-si-Jabstogs (Administration at Doorstep) programme was successfully held at the Community Hall, Lower Solar Colony, with participation from around 20 departments.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of the Nodal Officer, Padma Angmo, Assistant Director, Tourism, Leh.
Addressing the gathering, the Nodal Officer highlighted the importance of the initiative, stating that it aims to ensure doorstep delivery of essential government schemes and services, reducing procedural delays and the need for citizens to visit multiple offices.
She encouraged residents to make full use of the services available and appreciated their active participation.
Various on-the-spot services were provided during the programme, including Aadhaar enrolment and updation, e-KYC services, along with financial literacy awareness. The Nodal Officer informed that grievances raised during the camp were resolved on the spot wherever feasible, while remaining issues would be forwarded to the concerned departments for early redressal.
Officials from Social Welfare, PDD, PHE, RDD, Cooperatives, Education, Health, Agriculture, ICDS, Tourism, Soil Conservation, Horticulture, Revenue, Food, Handicraft, Banking, Housing, the Municipal Committee and other line departments interacted with the public and disseminated information on key welfare schemes.
Awareness was generated on PDMC, PMKSY, PM-Kisan, PM Surya Ghar Yojana, Right to Education, the National Food Security Act and various social security schemes through CFL Leh, including PMSBY, PMJJBY, APY and SSY, along with sessions on financial literacy, cyber fraud awareness and unclaimed deposits.
By the end of the day, residents of Lower Solar Colony actively availed the services offered at the camp.
A total of 33 Aadhaar registrations were completed. Ration card-related services included 12 new name additions, one deletion due to death, one change of Head of Family, three ration card transfers and five e-KYC completions. Forms were also filled under PMSBY (11), PMJJBY (6) and APY (2).
The Goba of Lower Solar Colony and other local representatives raised issues related to the Jal Jeevan Mission, street lighting, transformers and other civic concerns, which were submitted in the form of a memorandum to the Nodal Officer.
The Nodal Officer assured that all genuine concerns would be forwarded to the respective departments for necessary action.
