During the interaction, Mehbooba listened to the issues and challenges being faced by the younger generation and discussed their expectations regarding education, employment, social development and opportunities.

The meeting provided a platform for young participants to share their views and raise matters concerning their academic and professional futures, as well as the broader social and economic environment in Jammu and Kashmir.

Mehbooba emphasised the importance of maintaining an open dialogue with young people and understanding their aspirations while formulating policies and programmes for the region. She said the younger generation has an important role to play in shaping the future of Jammu and Kashmir.

The PDP chief also heard the participants’ perspectives on the challenges confronting youth and the need for greater opportunities to enable them to contribute meaningfully to society.
