Budgam, May 5: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday participated in an anti-drug padyatra in Budgam, urging collective efforts to eliminate the menace of drugs from the district.
During the march, the LG appealed to families, social organisations, and spiritual as well as political leaders to intensify the campaign at the grassroots level. He emphasized that public participation is crucial to making the anti-drug drive effective and sustainable.
Reaffirming the administration’s commitment, Sinha assured that every arm of the government is fully mobilised to eradicate drug abuse from the region. The initiative is part of the ongoing “Nasha Mukt J&K” campaign aimed at building a drug-free society across the Union Territory.
