ANANTNAG: The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday participated in a padyatra as part of the ongoing “Drug-Free J&K” campaign in Anantnag and addressed a public gathering, urging collective action against the drug menace.
In his address, the LG appealed to people to break their silence on drug abuse and stressed that all sections of society must speak in one voice about the dangers of addiction.
He said the fight against drugs requires strong community participation and sustained awareness efforts to protect youth and safeguard society from the growing threat of substance abuse.
