Leh/New Delhi, Jan 07: The Designate Director General of Police (DGP), Ladakh, Mukesh Singh on Tuesday called on the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, during a courtesy meeting held in New Delhi.
According to official sources, the meeting focused on matters linked to internal security, law and order, and steps required to further improve policing in the Union Territory of Ladakh. The discussion also touched upon the need for better coordination among various agencies to address emerging challenges in the region.
The Lieutenant Governor conveyed his best wishes to Mukesh Singh on assuming his new responsibility and underlined the role of close coordination between the administration and police to maintain peace, stability, and public confidence.
The interaction comes at a time when the administration is working towards strengthening governance and security arrangements across the Union Territory
