Leh, Sept 19: The Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh has issued fresh orders of relieving and repatriation of several JKAS officers to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, marking another round of administrative reshuffle. The General Administration Department (GAD) has directed that the officers concerned stand relieved with effect from 25 September 2025 to report to the GAD of J&K for further postings.
As per the order, Sandeep Singh, JKAS, Under Secretary, GAD Ladakh; Akshay Sharma, JKAS, Under Secretary, Home & Vigilance Department, Ladakh; and Mohit Sharma, JKAS, Under Secretary, Forest, Ecology & Environment, RD&PR and Science & Technology, Ladakh shall be relieved from their duties in Ladakh and revert to their parent UT of J&K.
Additionally, it has been ordered that Vivek Rattan, JKAS, Under Secretary in the Lt. Governor’s Secretariat, Ladakh, will be relieved by the Office of the Secretary to the Lt. Governor at a date convenient to and as directed by the Hon’ble Lt. Governor.
Further, Rehmatullah Butt, JKAS, Assistant Director, Employment Department, Leh, will continue to serve in Ladakh until 31 December 2025 (A.N.), after which he shall be relieved of his duties. From 1 January 2026, the charge of Assistant Director, Employment Department, Leh, will be held additionally by Anjil Singh, JKAS, in addition to his existing responsibilities.
The order also directs that all outgoing officers must hand over their charges to the newly posted officers as per the transfer order of the same date, ensuring adequate briefing of departmental roles and responsibilities for a smooth transition.
