Leh: Kushok Bakula Rinpoche (KBR) Airport, Leh continued to function smoothly on Monday, despite prevailing foggy conditions and intermittent bad weather in the region, demonstrating effective operational management and coordination at the high-altitude airport.
According to official traffic data, the airport handled nine domestic arrivals and nine domestic departures during the day. A total of 1,307 passengers arrived in Leh, while 1,400 passengers departed, reflecting steady air traffic movement even amid challenging weather conditions.
Airport authorities confirmed that flight operations, passenger handling and ground services were conducted in an orderly manner, with no major disruptions reported.
Close coordination between air traffic control, airline operators and ground staff ensured safe aircraft movements during periods of reduced visibility and adverse weather.
