Nyoma, Apr 28 : In a continued push to extend governance to remote regions, the administration on Monday organised a ‘Jung sJabs’ outreach programme at Koyul village in Nyoma subdivision, aiming to streamline welfare delivery and improve public access to essential services.
The camp, held under the Administrative at Doorstep initiative, was chaired by Naib Tehsildar Hanle, Miss Kunzes Dolma, and brought together officials from multiple government departments to provide on-the-spot services and address local concerns.
Designed to bridge the gap between administration and residents, the programme focused on enhancing awareness about various government schemes while ensuring their effective implementation at the grassroots level. Officials engaged directly with villagers, offering guidance, facilitating service delivery, and responding to queries related to welfare benefits.
Residents of Koyul village participated actively in the camp, availing services and gaining first-hand information about schemes intended for their socio-economic development. The initiative also served as a platform for the administration to assess ground-level challenges and gather feedback from the community.
The presence of representatives from several departments enabled a coordinated approach, ensuring that multiple services were delivered under one roof. Authorities reiterated their commitment to sustaining such outreach efforts to improve accessibility and transparency in governance across remote areas of Nyoma.
The ‘Jung sJabs’ programme forms part of a broader administrative effort to strengthen public interface and ensure that welfare measures reach even the most far-flung habitations in the region.
