Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Satpaul Karlupia here today started deep drain and work in Govind Nagar area of Ward number 32 which will be completed at the cost of Rs. 35 lakh.
and the lanes and drains were in dilapidated condition since long due to which residents of the area were facing a lot of problems.
Speaking on the occasion Karlupia appealed to the general public to cooperate with JMC in various development works undertaken by the UEED.
He urged upon the residents to avoid single use plastic and polythene in daily life and stop throwing debris, garbage etc in lanes and drain to make the city neat and clean.
Lovekesh Gondi (Executive Member IT Department BJP), Anil RaKwal, Rahul Mehra, Geeta Sodhi, Paramjeet kour, Rajesh Saini, Pala Ram, Madan Lal, Satish Salaria, Pyare lal Pandita, Ashok Kachroo, and others were present on the occasion.
