Jammu, Feb 28: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has hailed Jammu and Kashmir’s maiden Ranji Trophy victory as the Union Territory’s “finest hour,” calling it a moment of immense pride and emotion. In a post shared by the Office of the LG on X, he said the joy and feelings were “surging beyond words” as he watched the J&K cricket team lift the prestigious Ranji Trophy.
Sinha lauded the players for their grit, determination, and resilience, saying they have carved their names into history with sheer hard work. He added that the entire Union Territory is glowing with pride and thanked the squad for delivering a moment that will be remembered for generations.
The Lieutenant Governor also said the players have immortalized history with their remarkable feat and urged them to carry the honour with dignity as they help script a new chapter in Jammu and Kashmir’s sporting legacy.
