SRINAGAR, FEB 14: In a decisive strike against the narcotics trade, Jammu and Kashmir Police attached a single-story residential house worth ₹26,56,008 (1392 sq ft, Survey No. 44min) owned by Sartaj Ahmad Ganie of Memander, Shopian, acquired through illicit drug proceeds.
Ganie faces prior NDPS charges under FIRs 20/2021 and 49/2021 at Shopian Police Station. The operation unfolded with an Executive Magistrate, police team, Lambardar, and Chowkidar present, adhering strictly to legal protocols.
