Jammu, Feb 17: Jammu and Kashmir Police have successfully apprehended both Pakistani nationals, Mohammad Suna-ullah and Ahsan Anwar, who escaped from the R S Pura juvenile home alongside gangster Karajeet Singh alias Gugga after attacking guards on Monday evening.
The arrests in Punjab mark a swift breakthrough in the high-stakes manhunt, with special teams tracking the duo across state lines following their dramatic breakout involving gunfire from a smuggled pistol.
While the local gangster remains at large, the recapture of the foreign nationals averts potential cross-border risks, as investigations intensify into security lapses at the border-area facility where six cops were recently suspended.
