Srinagar, Feb 11: The Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed Commissioner/Secretary Finance, M. Raju IAS, as the Union Territory-level Nodal Officer for the 8th Pay Commission.
Issued via Circular No. 01-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated January 7 by the General Administration Department, the order tasks Raju with coordinating implementation of the Commission’s recommendations alongside the Ministry of Finance’s Department of Expenditure.
This move aims to facilitate timely rollout of pay revisions for UT employees.
