SRINAGAR, Aug 20: Employees of the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Wednesday staged a protest inside the Assembly premises against an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) regarding the deputation of Deputy Secretary Bilal Ahmad Mir.
The protesting employees assembled within the Assembly complex and raised objections to the deputation order, urging the competent authorities to review the decision.
The employees expressed concern over the order and sought an objective examination of their grievances before any further action is taken. They called for an appropriate and amicable resolution of the issue in accordance with applicable rules and administrative procedures.
The staff members urged the authorities to intervene and address their concerns in the larger interest of the Legislative Assembly and its employees.
The protesters maintained that the matter requires careful consideration by the competent authority and expressed hope that their grievances would be duly examined before a final decision is taken.
