JAMMU, Sept 27: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has granted Administrative Approval for the construction of a multi-level car parking facility at Jewel Chowk in Jammu.
The project has been approved at an estimated cost of Rs 29.88 crore under the Capex Budget 2026-27.
The proposed facility is expected to help address parking requirements in the busy Jewel Chowk area and improve traffic management in one of Jammu city’s key commercial and transit locations.
The approval marks a step towards strengthening urban infrastructure and providing additional organised parking space in the city.
