Kargil, Apr 03: A humanitarian aid campaign organised at Jamia Masjid Larsi Pashkum along the Kargil–Leh National Highway witnessed an expression of interfaith solidarity, as a Buddhist woman stepped forward to contribute to relief efforts for Iran.
The campaign stall, set up by the Al Muntazir Association, drew attention not only for its charitable objective but also for the participation of individuals across faith lines. The contribution by the Buddhist participant was seen by organisers as an embodiment of shared human values transcending religious identities.
According to a press release issued by the Isna Asharia Network JUIAKL, the gesture underscored the role of compassion and empathy in fostering unity during times of distress.
