JAMMU, MAR 4: The Indian Institute of Management Jammu showcased India’s brightest innovators at the DST iTBI Ignition Fest 2026, spotlighting 18 high-potential startups vying for grants up to ₹50 lakh.
After intense multi-stage screening, these ventures—strong in tech depth, scalability, and societal impact—pitched before a top-tier Governing Board. Chaired by IIM Jammu Director Prof B S Sahay, the panel included government scientists, bank leaders, IP experts, and industry heads like J&K Bank’s Nidhi Jamwal and PHDCCI’s Rakesh Wazir.
Startups faced rigorous judging on innovation, market fit, IP strength, finances, and national priorities. Prof Jabir Ali, Dean of Faculty and Research, joined the post-pitch Governing Body meeting.
Beyond competition, the fest doubled as a mentoring hub, arming founders with feedback to sharpen business models and market strategies. A win for Jammu’s innovation ecosystem.
