Kargil, May 10 : Global Schools Leadership (GSL), the education arm of the Arvind Mafatlal Group, on Friday conducted an induction session for school principals and education leaders in Kargil to introduce Future Skills, STEM, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) programmes for schools.
The initiative aims to equip students, particularly girls, with 21st-century skills through hands-on learning in robotics, coding, AI, Internet of Things (IoT) and innovation. The programmes, aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, are designed for students from Grades 1 to 10.
Officials said participating schools will receive curriculum support, robotics kits, teacher training, AI workshops, Learning Management System (LMS) access, certifications and academic support without any separate investment from schools.
GSL currently works with thousands of schools across India and has reached over 40,000 learners through programmes focused on STEM, AI, entrepreneurship and leadership development.
The organisation collaborates with institutions and organisations including Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Harvard Business Publishing, Cambridge University Press, Intel and VEX Robotics.
The initiative seeks to strengthen future-ready education in Kargil by promoting technology-enabled learning and modern classroom practices.
