Mumbai Apr 9 : The India‑flagged LPG carrier Green Asha has successfully crossed the Strait of Hormuz and moored at JNPA’s liquid berth operated by BPCL–IOCL, marking a significant milestone as the first such vessel to reach Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority since the onset of the war between Iran, the United States, and Israel. The vessel carried 15,400 tonnes of LPG, and authorities confirmed that the ship, its cargo, and all crew members are safe and secure. The arrival underscores the resilience of India’s maritime operations amid complex geopolitical tensions and ensures the continued, uninterrupted supply of essential LPG to the country.
