Leh, Jul 23: The Regional Office of Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Ladakh, conducted a webinar on July 23, 2025, to raise awareness about the PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana, a central employment-linked incentive scheme aimed at generating formal job opportunities across India.
The virtual session drew participation from 21 employers representing sectors such as hospitality, construction, and education within Ladakh. Notable organizations including Topline Infra, Hotel The Zen, Municipal Corporation Leh, and Druk Padma Karpo School joined the discussion to understand the scope and benefits of the initiative.
Shri Naresh Kumar Yadav, Regional Provident Commissioner-II, led the session with a comprehensive overview of the scheme. He outlined how the PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana supports job creation by providing financial incentives to employers who generate new formal employment and register eligible employees with EPFO.
Emphasizing the scheme’s alignment with the Government of India’s vision for a developed and inclusive workforce, Shri Yadav reiterated EPFO Ladakh’s commitment to assist employers in navigating registration procedures and availing the incentives effectively.
The session also included a Q&A segment, where employer representatives posed questions on eligibility, procedural steps, and benefit structures. These were addressed in detail, encouraging wider participation from employers across the region.
The initiative marks a forward step in bridging employment gaps and enhancing formal job opportunities for youth in remote areas like Ladakh. EPFO Ladakh plans to intensify its outreach efforts to ensure maximum coverage and benefit under the scheme.
